“ The coffee and tea both are really good! I think it's the best coffee in Houston. I used to live close by, so I used to go there a lot. I went back on Christmas day and they were open. This is why I like Houston being multicultural. ”
“ My wife ordereed a freezy which is described as an iced blended drink, she got the freezy coffee, she gave it 2 stars, it was barely cold and very liquidy, she was expecting something like a frappe. I loved my hot kumbakonam degree coffee. They have a bunch of snacks, samosas, dal puri, spring rolls, etc. They also have stuff like chicken tenders, spanakopita which is a spinach and cheese pastry, and lots of Indian pastries like gulab jamon, jalebi, we'd just eaten elsewhere so I didn't try any other items....they looked tasty though. ”
“ Owners are very nice and food was delicious. Will be going back. I recommend this cafe to everyone I speak too. ”
“ Great coffee. Great samosa. Definitely something to try for the adventurous coffee drinker or wanting Desi comforts in a coffee shop setting ”
“ My whole family ate here last night. Two entrees and six samosas fed 3 hungry adults. We loved the desi desserts at the end - the beet one was amazing. The food was great too. We'll be back. I docked a star since it was pretty expensive for a place where we were served on disposables and had to bus our own table. Clean enough. ”
“ Bengal Sweets has a permanent place in my heart. The barista showed us true Desi hospitality. Conversed with us, gave my bestie a complimentary beverage so she'd have something to sip on with me, and got my drink out in minutes. Clean, cozy, and varied seating make this a perfect place for studying or catching up with a friend. Now for the iced coffee. Some of the BEST iced coffee I've ever had. Perfectly foamy with the perfect level of sweetness. ”
“ Starbucks who??? I love an authentic coffee or in my case tea house. I absolutely love my Chai and this place does it best! This place gives you all the vibes of a homemade bakery and coffee shop. From the sweet treats to the veggie samosas. What I love is that when I walk in the gentleman who makes my Masala Chai literally knows me by my drink haha. This place has a handful of drink options coffee and tea nice and simple. I love that about this place nothing overly complicated nor complex drinks just simple authentic. They do have a large sitting area and offer wifi so it's a good place to work and or study. Highly recommend to give this place a try! ”
“ My first ever Indian coffee shop! Their chairs are couch chairs with a lot of places for outlets. Wifi was very fast. Bathrooms were okay. Unfortunately, some of the tables were kind of dirty when I came but whatever. Still a great place to do some work! I ordered the Kumbhakonam degree coffee due to all of the people hyping it up and man, I think it deserved the hype. I think they place some kind of butter in it because when mine became more cool, there was a thin membrane that tasted like it. Just order it! And make sure you order something larger than a 6.5 oz because it's worth it! Unfortunately, I did not get to try some of their samosas but my friend got to! Remarked that it was fantastic. ”
